Description
The RYA Day Skipper Theory course equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day. A basic knowledge of lights is also included to introduce you to night cruising. It is great if you have done some sailing/boating before but doesn’t matter if you haven’t. This course is a minimum of 40 hours plus exams and includes the following:
- Instruction
- 2 RYA Training Charts
- RYA Day Skipper Shorebased Notes
- Day Skipper Exercises and course information
- Use of plotter, dividers and training almanac
All RYA courses are supplied by the RYA Registered Training Centre “Wavelength Training Ltd” at our address in Ballyhalbert, Northern Ireland or through the RYA Interactive training site.
