Simon Exley

Commercially Endorsed skipper, Cruising Instructor, Adv Powerboat Instructor, Navigation Instructor, First Aid Instructor, SRC Assessor, Radar Instructor, Sea Survival Instructor, White Water Kayak Coach.

Simon has been involved in the marine industry for nearly 30 years, from working as a Beach Lifeguard in the late ’90s through to volunteering as a Lifeboat Trainer Assessor for the RNLI. When he’s not teaching or skippering, he’s still found near water!

Richard Robinson AKA Skippy

Commercially Endorsed skipper, Powerboat Instructor, Dinghy, Windsurf instructor and Keelboat Senior Instructor, SRC Assessor. Skippy has worked as an Event Safety Officer for a number of Regional and National sailing competitions for over a decade. He has also worked for the RYA NI as a Regional Mark Layer at World Championships and as a Course Safety Officer.


Graham Moučka

Graham has worked for the RYANI as a Regional Marker Layer and a Course Safety Officer. He has also worked as an Event Safety Officer for a number of Regional and National sailing competitions

Tom Rafferty

Tom, as well as teaching powerboat, he can also be found doing maintenance on our fleet. A complete petrolhead, Tom’s spare time is filled with his love of fast cars and bikes.


Carl Lowther

White Water Kayak Coach.

Carl has been kayaking for over three decades, from running a kayak shop to teaching outdoor education, Carl has done it all!
