The RYA Diesel Engine Course is a one-day, classroom-based introduction to the operation and maintenance of marine diesel engines.
Diesel engine issues are the UK’s number one reason for emergency callouts at sea. Designed for both sailing and motor cruising enthusiasts, the course provides the practical knowledge and skills needed to prevent mechanical failure and respond effectively when problems arise.
What you will learn:

- Key systems: fuel, cooling, lubrication, and electrics
- Routine maintenance procedures and daily checks
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting techniques

Training is delivered by experienced instructors in a relaxed and supportive environment, with plenty of opportunity for questions and hands-on learning.
