Hallmark bearing saver system-first tap off grease sleeve being careful not to deform the tube downstream of plunger or the inner part will not slide. Remove split pin.

                               Remove castle nut, wobble drum and front bearing drops into your hand.

             Replacing, grease liberally with Castrol Heavy waterproof grease. NOT ALL GREASE IS WATERPROOF - this stuff is and will protect your bearings!

            ALWAYS PUT A NEW SPLIT PIN IN !!! Especially the inside wheel which will screw itself off if the pin fails (unlike the offside one-think about it). Tap sleeve back on and use grease gun to fill the void. Don't wait until they fail, service the brakes and bearings regularly. How many boat trailers do you see at the side of the road with a wheel off while the owner goes looking for some new bearings.
